Ladybug project

And, another ladybug project. This is a tiny canvas that I stretched some fabric over, and then I had this ladybug patch, which I then sewed on.

Sometimes it doesn't take a whole lot to make me happy.

It's official

I am now officially a geek. I joined a bowling league tonight and sort of liked it.

I am not anything like consistent, or good, though. Tonight's scores:

Game 1: 127

Game 2: 90

Game 3: 109

Lasik works!

After getting zapped in the eyeball with laser beams yesterday, I now have 20/15 vision in my right eye. My left eye's always been pretty much fine. So nice to be even again!

In other news, I'm now waiting for my first loaf of sourdough made with Trogdor to rise. We'll see how that goes.

I know, I know...

I know I've been slacking.

I blame Maker Faire for distracting me into the doing-crafts world, instead of the blogging-about-them realm.

I learned to felt there, so I'll be posting my creations soon, as soon as I get the photos ready. And I've been sewing a lot more.

In the mean time, I got a tattoo yesterday, on my forearm. It's really hard to take a picture of your own forearm.

This is the fussy bun blog. I'm Erin. I make stuff. Lots of stuff. I paint, sew, cook, do home improvement, and a bunch of other stuff.

Sometimes it works out, and other times, I start over. Other times, I figure out how to change the plan in the middle to make it work.
